Happened to us, there was a fatality somewhere on the rails, so Stansted Express didn’t run to Liverpool Street. The following was the alternative:
Cambridge was in the other direction, took us around 35 minutes from Stansted and we managed to get a Thameslink train to King’s Cross in a short time. The train itself was running for about hour and 20 (Northern trains are usually about 50 minutes or so).
